Paid Search Analyst

Cutting-edge, innovative, Boston-area online marketing company is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Paid Search Analyst to join our growing team.  This is a role for someone who is highly motivated, detail & numbers oriented, is a strategic thinker and a team player. 

This role involves day-to-day management and optimization of many client accounts on Google AdWords and MSN AdCenter.  You must be an expert in keyword research, new program buildouts, and management and optimization of current programs.  You will also need to have the ability to regularly write time-sensitive, client-facing reports on PPC past performance and future trends.  This role is initially limited to PPC management, but the person filling this role may end up being involved in other aspects of our agency, including SEO and Analytics.

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Paid Search Marketing.  Experience with Google Adwords is Required. Agency experience preferred but not required.  But above all you must have a strong interest in committing yourself to learn about its many aspects and in working hard to keep on top of everything.

 Responsibilities Include:

*create new keyword search terms and ad copy

*research new and existing sites for new keyword ideas

*maintain up to date ad copy and keyword landing pages

*implementing and monitoring A/B tests around landing pages and ad copy

*tracking on-site and conversion performance via Google Analytics and other tools

 Requirements:

*Bachelors Degree, preferably in Marketing or a quantitative field

*Previous PPC experience preferred

*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

*Proficiency in Google Adwords is required

*Proficency in the following tools is a plus: Google Analytics, Omniture, Microsoft AdCenter, Coremetrics
